Foresters is a luxury lodge situated at the foot of the prentjiesberg, part of the drakensberg.
All rooms are serviced daily and laundry is done daily free of charge if you visit us longer than one night. Variations of rooms are on offer to cater for your needs. All rooms are fresh, neat and comfortable with heaters, electric blankets, DStv and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is on offer every morning. Dinner is also available on request and an honesty bar available.
We have humid summers with thunderstorms and cool evenings. Winter is very cold with frost in the morning and lovely sunny days.
In the village you can find the Ugie Tractor Museum, a collection of old farming machines and implements. Some of the world's finest rock art can be found in caves in the local mountains, one of which, the Gatberg, has a large hole in its summit. There is also some excellent trout fishing near Ugie.
