Background

LOKSH’N Entertainment has been in operation since 2006, organizing a diverse range of events in the East London area. Ranging from a Jazz festival in 2006, a fashion show and beauty pageant for Buffalo City College, events in night clubs, events at the East London Grand Prix Circuit the National Porsche Parade 2007, to name but a few.

LOKSH’N Entertainment has always been an innovator and a leader in the entertainment industry in the East London. LOKSH’N Entertainment was the first events company in East London to us the Border Bulldog Inn which was later re-branded as Lounge 22 as a venue for events as well as the East London Grand Prix Circuit.

As LOKSH’N Entertainment we realized that people and information about events did always correlate. With the aim of filling this gap in the market, while simultaneously enhancing and changing the perception of nightlife in the Eastern Cape, the website www.lokshn.co.za was born.

www.lokshn.co.za is an Eastern Cape focused website which promotes nightlife and leisure activities in the area. The Eastern Cape has been over looked unfairly over the years. This has often been based on misguided assumption and false perceptions. www.lokshn.co.za aims to redress such perceptions and too often ill informed conclusion about the Eastern Cape.

The Eastern Cape, in particular East London has a diverse product range to offer in terms of entertainment and leisure. As www.lokshn.co.za we aim to highlight these activities, the places which offer them. Our main aim and focus is to highlight and promote the upmarket, trendy and chic side of East London.



Product Offering

www.lokshn.co.za offers two basic services, a Web Service and a Media Service, together they form a comprehensive review and profile of your venue.

Web Service
This service consists of the comprehensive profile of your venue, describing the styling, atmosphere, service offering and essential details. The profile would consist of both a written review describing and highlighting the uniqueness and strengths of your service offering, as well as accompanying pictures. As a part of this service one event review is included per month.

Media Service
This service consists of a series of event review at your venue. As a part of this service we, a team will be sent to your venue which would produce a comprehensive review of the event as well as pictures in order to best capture the atmosphere. This event review would then be uploaded on our facebook page and onto the website. As an added feature we can also produce a recurring DVD of the pictures taken during events at your venue which can be displayed on your TV screens during future events.

These two services together create a truly comprehensive profile of your venue as the best qualities and unique offerings of your venue are accentuated and constantly updated creating an ever evolving profile of your venue. The Media Service combined with the Web Service allows patrons of your venue to have the highlights of their evening captured and for potential customers to gain a guided glimpse into what they could also experience at your venue.
