Located on the beach front of Gonubie, the Gonubie Mouth Hotel is a 3 star family run hotel boasting two restaurants and 4 bars with beautiful views over the Gonubie bay. Our guests have a choice between B&B and self catering accommodation. The Galleon restaurant provides both guests and locals with a mouth watering a la Carte cuisine and other services include breakfast, lunch and dinners at The Deck restaurant. The Gonubie Hotel is perfectly situated for weddings and has 3 fully equipped conference facilities to suit our clients’ needs.
The Gonubie Hotel is a stone’s throw away from a breath taking beach including safe lagoons, tidal pools and the Gonubie River. Our guests enjoy relaxing strolls across one of South Africans longest boardwalks to the main Gonubie beach. Our flagship restaurant The Deck provides guest with views of the bay where they can watch dolphins play and immerse themselves in the beauty and wildlife of the Eastern Cape coastline.
There are many activities that keep our guest entertained during their stay with us and these include sailing, surfing, wind surfing ; rock, river and ski boat fishing, diving, bowls, tennis, squash even golf at the local Gonubie Golf course. Horse riding can also be arranged and there is a bird sanctuary close to the hotel for the avid bird watchers.
There are local shopping centres both in Gonubie and in the main city East London which is only 15min away.
