Set in the great Karoo, Koelfontein is a working sheep farm with over 140 bird species,
beautiful walks and a large swimming pool. Just over 30km from Cradock, Koelfontein is the
perfect place for a peaceful overnight stop or a weekend away with the kids.
Enjoy everyday farm activities, explore the karoo ‘vlakte’ and mountains – if you’re lucky you may spot a steenbok or kudu, or even a bat-eared fox! – or relax at the pool.

Chalet
Our fully equipped chalet is the perfect home from home for a family weekend away or comfortable stop-over between Gauteng and the Eastern Cape Coast.
Open plan, the chalet sleeps 4 in twin beds and a double sleeper couch. It has a large en-suite bathroom (with bath), a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, two plate cooker etc. For your entertainment there is DSTV and a private Braai area with plenty of firewood.

Twin Rooms
For the budget-conscious traveler our 3 Twin Rooms, originally a row of stables, now converted into snug bedrooms, share a communal shower and toilet, and an outside cooking area and Braai. A two plate cooker, pots and kettle are available on request.
