Dimbaza is situated approximately 20 minutes along the R63 from King William's Town.
Under apartheid a small industrial sector was created in the homelands through heavy subsidy, centred on the 'border industry' towns of Butterworth, Zwelitsha and Dimbaza. Much of this industry has closed with the removal of subsidies and a more open and competitive economy.
There are no known tourism attractions or amenities in Dimbaza.
